It is with deep sadness that our family announces the passing of Cecile, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Joe Mondok, and all of his family; her children, Lynn, Joanne, Lori and Joe and all of their families, and by many relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors at NRDH and a special thank you to all the nurses (you are angels) in the Palliative Care Unit. Please join us on Thursday, Nov. 10 at St. Peter’s Parish, 301Machleary Street; Mass at 12:30 pm followed by a Celebration of Cecile’s Life at 1:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations in memory of Cecile, to NRDH Palliative Care Unit or Nanaimo Hospice Society.
