Barb passed suddenly on January 9th at Lions Gate Hospital.
Born and raised in Victoria, BC. After leaving school she worked at the Melrose Cafe where she met her husband, Denis.
She dedicated her life to raising her family as their journey took them to many towns in BC.
Barb was loved and cherished for her kindness, compassion, and ability to listen. She was a great friend to so many people.
Her greatest pride and accomplishment were her children.
She will be sadly missed by her children Mike (Janice), Joe, Delvina, Doreen, Jackie (Bob), Dan (Lisa), and Toni; her grandchildren Chris, Katie, Claire, Sean, Hannah and Grace; Her Great Grandchildren Owen, Tandia, Brynn, William and Bliss; Her sisters Helaine and Fran.
She was predeceased by her husband Denis, sister Marjorie and brother Don.
A memorial Service will be held on January 20th at 1:00 pm at Sands Funeral Home, Nanaimo BC reception to follow.
A private family interment will be at Cedar Memorial Gardens.
