Barbara Brown-John
November 19, 1958 - April 1, 2016
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Barbara Brown-John née Barbie Squire, April 1, 2016.
Barbara was born Nov. 19, 1958 to Earl and Jean Squire in Nanaimo, B.C. She leaves behind to mourn her husband Jack, children Brad and Jenny and grandchildren, her brother Doug (Kelly) Squire, Sister Mary Ellen (Keith) Rodway and nieces & nephews.
Barbara grew up in Nanaimo, enjoyed Highland Dancing and basketball. After leaving school, she worked for Crown Zellerbach for a time, before heading to the Cariboo Region where she met her husband. She settled in Likely, BC where her and Jack enjoyed 25 years of peace and solitude away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
A special thanks to the nurses at the Williams Lake Dialysis clinic for their care and attention these last few years.
