Arthur (Norman) Gold, passed away peacefully in Nanaimo with his family at his side on October 16, 2017 at the age of 88.
Survived by his loving wife Donna nee Norris; his children, Karen (Mike) and Art (Debbie); his grandchildren Emma, Oliver and Emily; his great grandchildren Aidan and Aaron, nieces and nephews.
Norman is predeceased by his parents Arthur and Mary nee Dempsey; brothers Thomas and Jimmy; sisters Lena, Mary and Agnes (Nan).
Born in Nanaimo, Norman met his wife Donna in 1955 while working at the Queens Hotel in Nanaimo.
Norman was truly a jack of all trades; spending the last 19 years of his working career at the Nanaimo Regional General Hospital.
A private family gathering will take place at a later date.
