Arthur Lister

It is with heartfelt sadness that we announce the passing of Arthur on November 04, 2022. He is Predeceased by his wife of 47 years Gwennie Lister, and his wife of 20 years Shirley Reid, brothers Robert Lister and James Emberton and his son in law Andre Phillion.
Arthur is survived by his children Carla (Brian) Vanderveen, Jeff (Sandy) Lister, Lori (Andre) Lavallee-Phillion, Leah (Eric) Berg-Lavallee, and Tracy (Barry) Dales, grandchildren Wade Vanderveen, Jessica Vanderveen, Kyla (Brandon) McCaig, Tawnia (Alex) Jennings, Edward Cleavland, Jared Cleavleand, Marina Cleavland, and Cody Dales, great- grandchildren Addia, Everly, Orin, Lochlan and Emerson.
Art grew up in Edmonton, AB where he met his first wife Gwennie while still in High School. They married in 1959. Art went on to start his own business Cornet Printing. They had Carla and Jeff in the early 60's he worked hard, he then retired from printing and moved to Nanoose Bay in 1988.
His passions were Golf, Curling and his Grankids.
His wife Gwennie passed away in 2000, he was fortunate enough to meet another love Shirley Reid and they Married in 2003. Unfortunately, Shirley passed in early 2022. Art had a great life, filled with lots of love and laughter. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
A Celebration of life will be held on January 7, 2023 from 1:30 - 3:30 at the Nanoose Bay Community Centre.
