May 22, 2018
It is with great sadness we announce the peaceful passing of our father Art on May 22nd, 2018.

Predeceased by his wife Diane (Harper), his parents Kenneth and Rhoda and his brother Samuel. He is survived by his daughters Bobbie, Leslie (Don) Lyon, Shannon and her partner Rod Powell.

Also, his brother Doug of Saskatoon, grandsons Brady (Lisa) Lymburner Callaghan and Cole Lyon. Lovingly remembered by Deanna Campbell, and the extended Campbell and Harper families.

Art was a career banker beginning in his hometown of Luseland Saskatchewan in 1947. He held many positions throughout Western Canada, until his retirement almost 4 decades later. He and Diane moved to Nanaimo soon after his retirement in 1987.

Art and Diane were avid collectors of fine glass and antiques. He also had a lifelong passion for all things Western, from artwork to horses. Art was an avid golfer, and belonged to the Nanaimo Golf Course for close to 20 years.

He had many enduring relationships with family and friends over the course of his lifetime.

At Art's request, there will be no service.

Donations in lieu of flowers may be made to The Dementia organization of your choice, or The Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada. Both can be found at www.canadahelps.org.
