Arlene Keeping passed away peacefully December 16, 2009, at Princeton Regional Hospital from cancer. She was born September 20, 1934 in Princeton, BC.
Arlene is survived by her husband, Harvey and three children: Terry (Julie) Keeping of Nanaimo, BC, Jeanne (Jerry) Maksymchuck of Vegreville, AB and Sandra Attig of Nanaimo, BC. She is also survived by her grandchildren, whom she loved very much: Tara, Tracy and Brent Keeping; Ashley, Joel, Mark and Jessie Attig; and Michelle, Krista and Amanda Maksymchuck; two great grandchilden: Elise and Sydnee Keeping; her sister, Beverly (Bob) Williams and many cousins, nieces, nephews and long-time friends. Predeceased by her parents: Pete Peterson and Jean Waters; stepfather, Steve Perak; sons: Arthur and Steven Keeping; stepsister, Christina Durante; son-in-law, Marvin Attig and grandson, Kale Attig.
Arlene will be greatly missed by us all and remembered for her love of travel, knitting and family. No service by request. Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
