Annette Lucille Creelman

With eyes filled with tears and broken hearts, we announce the passing of our loving mother Annette Creelman (nee McCrea). After suffering a sudden stroke 2 days earlier, Annette died in the early hours of Friday, June 3 in Campbell River, BC.
Annette was born in Tisdale SK to Alfred and Augustine (nee Hudon) McCrea, youngest child and sister to 13 siblings. As a teenager, Annette moved to BC and would marry Bill McLean. Together they had 3 daughters: Suzan (Doug) McVicar of Kelowna BC - Calum (Becca) and great granddaughter Cora McVicar, Caitlin McVicar and Graeme McVicar; Diana McLean (predeceased in childhood); Lesa (Dean) Weslosky of Campbell River BC - Jordan (Meghan) Chaplin and Danielle Weslosky. Annette would later marry John Creelman together having 1 son: Sean (Rhonda) Creelman of Campbell River BC - Eric Kusch and Alyssa Elias. In 1972 Nanaimo BC became Annette’s hometown.
Many an extended family member and friend feel so blessed to have had her love us and for us to have loved her. Annette will be forever missed by her cherished friends Gary Geary of Nanaimo BC and Denise LaRiviere of Winnipeg MB. Many a fond time will be especially remembered as we enjoy mom’s crocheted christmas snowflakes and pineapple doilies. The loving memories of mom hugging her 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild will always keep her close at heart.
By mom’s request, a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date when her ashes are laid to rest
