The family of Anne Leone Read(Biggs)are saddened to announce her passing on Thursday, March 20, 2025. Our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend left us peacefully with her family at her side.
Leone is survived by her husband of 66 years Robert, her children Laurence(Bonnie), Barbara, Michael (Tamara), grandchildren, Aaron, Darla (Pat), Jacob (Dana), Larissa (Buddy), Dylan, great grandchildren, Mya, Emry, Asher and Riverly.
Leone was a kind, devoted, family matriarch who always put family, friends and the needs of others ahead of her own. She will be dearly missed by her sister in law Marie Biggs niece Lisa(Jim), sister in law Patricia Casey, nephew Sean(Sarah) and niece Meghan(Davis) and family and many cousins as well as the ladies in her birthday club, Walleen, Tania, Irene and special friend Terry.
Leone was predeceased by her parents Henry Nelson (Shorty) Biggs, Ida Louella (Muriel) Biggs and brother Donald Biggs.
The family would like to sincerely thank Dr. Williams, and the NRGH Palliative Care staff for their compassion and kindness.

A celebration of life will be announced and held at a later date.
