Carlson, Anne Catherine passed away October 12, 2002. She is survived by her husband Edward; three children Katherine (Richard) Grieve, Martin (Cheryl) Carlson and Christine (Gerry) Keen; seven grandchildren Curtis Grieve, Kendra Carlson, Kaycie Carlson, Karmyn Carlson, Melissa Basso, Mathew Basso and Sara Keen. She truly loved all her family and enjoyed any get togethers. Anne was a school teacher for 35 years and taught in many districts, the last being Powell River for 12 years. She had not been well for quite some time and for the last few months resided at Travellers Lodge. She thoroughly enjoyed it there. The staff was always so kind and compassionate and inter act ing with other residents was something she enjoyed. The family would like to thank the two Doctors at the hospital emergency ward. Special thanks to the nurses on the third floor that was so kind to all of us. We will always remember her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2002 in the Chapel of First Memorial Funeral Services, 1720 Bowen Road, Nanaimo, BC at 1:30 p.m.
