January 6, 1923 - October 18, 2018
It is with heartfelt sadness the passing of the love of my life and wife for 53 years. Angelin passed away in Dufferin Place at the age of 95. She was born in Kinistino, Saskatchewan and her early years in the family home-site at White Fox. She obtained her teacher certificate in Regina Saskatchewan and started her teaching career in the multi-grade one room schools in Northern Saskatchewan. She was predeceased by parents Alfred and Ragna Hendricks, sister Fern and her first husband Tom Ramsey. She leaves her second husband Donald Graham, her two sons; Lyle and Dennis Ramsey, three grandchildren; Meagan, Liam, Michael, brother Wayne Hendricks, sister Nadine Thompson and family. Also, three great-grandchildren.

In 1944 the Hendrick family sold the homestead and moved to North Vancouver where Alfred worked in the Shipyard. After the War they moved to the Fraser Valley and bought a small dairy farm at Popkum in the Fraser Valley. At this time Ann started a Medical Career as a Lab Technician in the Cancer laboratory at the Vancouver General Hospital. She continued this line of work as a Cardio Technician at the Royal Columbian Hospital. She built as new home in Surrey for herself and the boys to be near her work. After her marriage to Donald in 1965 she demonstrated her entrepreneurship skills by starting several businesses. When the Grahams moved to Port Hardy, Ann was asked to be manager of the newly built Pioneer Inn. This was greatly appreciated by the owner who had other businesses to look after. Upon moving to Port McNeil Ann was asked to become assistant to the first doctor the village had. Nanaimo became the next home to the pair. Ann started a business based on fudge which proved very successful.

He biggest success was a Bed and Breakfast in Departure Bay. Living in Nanaimo made it possible to attend St. Andrews Presbyterian Church. Ann spent the next 13 years working in the church. She was not only in the church choir but also assisted as the Treasurer. In addition, she became President on the Presbyterian Ladies Group. In this post she designed improvements and the church hall which provided for the increasing membership in the Congregation. Ann enjoyed making music with her accordion and dancing to country and western tunes. She played with the "Old Rubber Band" for several years, playing to the various seniors groups in care homes. She was an ardent curler and was distinguished in many bonspeils. Ann was admitted to Dufferin Place in early 2018. She always paid tribute to the care givers for their tireless efforts. The family helped her celebrate her 95th birthday in Dufferin Place.

A Memorial Service will be held at St Andrews Presbyterian Church 4235 Departure Bay Road on Tuesday November 6, 2018 at 2:00 pm.
