After a heroic fight against cancer, it comes with great sadness we share that Andy has peacefully passed away. Andy was at home where he wanted to be, smooth jazz playing and surrounded by family.
Andy was the perfect example of a loving husband, father, amazing friend, incredibly passionate soccer coach/player/mentor, and most importantly, papa. Those he's left behind will miss everything about him, especially the way he could brighten up any room with his goofy, big kid personality and those kind, beautiful blue eyes.
His wife, Carol(Gramma), his three children DeAnna, Justin(Katie) and Kimberlee(Nick) and his seven grandchildren, Bryce, Broedy, Emily, Owen, Abbi, Colby & Ellie want to thank their village of family, friends, neighbours, papas mountain biking 'gang', AP construction crew and so many more people who have been such a support for our entire family during these difficult times.
Andy loved being on a pitch coaching or watching "real" football. He founded CIYSA and dedicated years to the development of players skills and character both on and off the pitch. Andy spent countless hours riding and building trails, it was his passion. Trails such as Bakers Street, Sophies Trail, Reservoir Dogs and Easy Does It to name a few will be enjoyed for years to come. Through all the hard work, blood, sweat and tears while trail building, he never sought recognition or praise, a testament to his character. He was an incredible man and will be missed beyond measure.
Until we see you again papa.
