Passed away peacefully at Kiwanis Lodge Care Facility on April 7, 2018 at the age of 94. Predeceased by her husband James Granville Taylor on May 1, 2016. She is survived by her son Fred (Anne) and daughters Beverley (Roy) and Teresa (Dwayne), 5 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Allwyn was born in Trail, BC, August 4, 1923. Most of her life was spent in Nanaimo. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
She was a very loving, caring wife. mother, grandmother and great-grand mother. She was loved by all of us and will be greatly missed.
The family would like to thank the nurses on the third floor an the staff for their exemplary care during her stay in Kiwanis Lodge.
There will be a private family service on May 13th.
