Hoppy passed away peacefully in his sleep September 19/16 at the age of 83.
Predeceased by his wife Alice in 2008, his granddaughter Kristina in 2002 and his sister Joan in 2014. He is survived by his children Gwen (Paul), Sheryl, Debby (Walter), Susan, Doug (Ute) and Dolly (Pat), grandchildren Jason (Joy), Michelle, Buddy, Christopher, Alexis, Alana and great grandchildren Brittany, Jodi, Gracie, Koen, Peyton and Jayce, sister Peg (Ron) and brother Bob (Anne) and numerous nieces and nephews.
Special thanks to Dr. Schulson and Dr. Walker and all at The Family Practice Clinic for his amazing care. He was a hardworking family man who will be greatly missed! Mom and Dad are once again together, forever and dancing with the stars.
Celebration of Life Saturday October 1/16 1:00 – 4:00 @ 235 Villa Road Nanaimo. Flowers declined. Donations can be made to the Cancer Society.
