Nicolson, Alice May

age 91 years, passed away comfortably and with dignity September 17, 2003. Alice will be forever missed and fondly remembered by her son Ronald, daughter-in-law Cyndy, granddaughter Kelly who were by her side during her final hours. Also missing her and very saddened are grandsons Jory and Connor, son-in-law Kent, niece Beverly and all of her extended family and friends. Alice was predeceased by her daughter Lorna (1984) and husband Charlie of 54 years. A memorial service will take place at St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 100 Chapel Street, Nanaimo on October 4, 2003 at 1:00p.m. with Reverend Donald Gordon officiating. A Celebration of Alice’s life will follow at Ron and Cyndy’s home. The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks and appreciation for the kind and compassionate caring from Dr. Steve Beerman, the Director of Care and all the staff and volunteers at Woodgrove Manor. For those who wish, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Canadian National Institute for the Blind or a charity of your choice.
