NOTICE OF TEMPORARY USE PERMIT

Notice is hereby given that Council, of the City of Nanaimo, at its meeting to be held on 2023-FEB-27 , at 7:00 p.m. in the Shaw Auditorium, Vancouver Island Conference Centre, 80 Commercial Street, Nanaimo, BC, will consider the approval of a resolution to issue a temporary use permit as follows:

Notice is hereby given that Council, of the City of Nanaimo, at its meeting to be held on 2023-FEB-27, at 7:00 p.m. in the Shaw Auditorium, Vancouver Island Conference Centre, 80 Commercial Street, Nanaimo, BC, will consider the approval of a resolution to issue a temporary use permit as follows:

TEMPORARY USE PERMIT NO. TUP00025

Location: 2116 Northfield Road, as shown on Map A (LOT 3, SECTION 18, RANGE 7, MOUNTAIN DISTRICT, PLAN 21371)

Purpose: To permit industrial uses including custom workshop and mini storage to occur within existing buildings on the subject property for a period of 3 years.

A copy of the proposed permit and related information may viewed online at https://www.nanaimo.ca/whatsbuilding/Folder/TUP00025 or at the City of Nanaimo, Service and Resource Centre, located at 411 Dunsmuir Street, Nanaimo, BC, during normal business hours 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, excluding statutory holidays from 2023-FEB-16 to 2023-FEB-27, inclusive.

Written submissions must be provided no later than 2:00 p.m.on 2023-FEB-27, to ensure they are received by Council, and can be provided as follows:
