District of Lantzville
In accordance with Section 124(3) of the Community Charter, notice is hereby given that District of Lantzville Council intends to amend “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020” by adopting “Council Procedure Bylaw No. 141, 2020, Amendment (Social Media Use) Bylaw No. 344, 2023”. In general terms, the proposed amendment would amend section 31. Communicating on behalf of Council, by deleting subsection (9) “Members will abide by the guidelines for elected official social media use contained in the Social Media Policy No. 3000-10.”.
A copy of Bylaw No. 344 can be viewed on the District’s website at lantzville.ca or on the bulletin board at the Municipal Hall located at 7192 Lantzville Road, Lantzville, BC.
