Police have issued a Canada-wide warrant for Bellrena Lilian McKay.
McKay, 39, was recently released from jail after serving a sentence for aggravated assault.
She has allegedly failed to comply with conditions of her parole and it is believed she could be Nanaimo or the central Vancouver Island region in the company of a First Nations man of similar age.
McKay is First Nations, 5-foot-3 and weights about 160 pounds. She has short brown hair, brown eyes and numerous tattoos on her right and left hands of a bear, flowers and a rose.
She should be considered violent and should not be approached.
