A total of 218 Vancouver Island University graduates will receive degrees at two separate daytime convocation ceremonies at the Port Theatre on Monday and Tuesday (Jan. 28-29) at 2:30 p.m.
The ceremony includes presentations of an honorary doctorate of letters to Canadian artist Gordon Smith Appelbe and alumni horizon award to Lynne Burns, bachelor of science graduate.
