Vehicles crash at Mary Ellen Drive intersection

One vehicle was towed after a car crash in the north end of the city on a rainy Sunday night

One vehicle was towed after a car crash in the north end of the city on a rainy Sunday night.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue and B.C. Ambulance Service responded to a two-vehicle accident at about 6:15 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 at the intersection of Mary Ellen Drive and the old Island highway. A Jeep and a pickup truck were involved.

Minor injuries were being treated at the location. One vehicle damaged in the crash was towed and the scene was cleared by about 7 p.m.
