Bill Eadie puts a little extra grunt into his ride as he strains over a tiny pump to reinflate his bike’s high-pressure tire after fixing a flat on the Island Highway Tuesday.
Fortunately Eadie, who is retired, was only late getting to his favourite coffee shop in Nanaimo.
