Trucks crash at north Nanaimo intersection

Two people require medical attention after accident at Uplands Drive and Hammond Bay Road

Two people required medical attention and traffic was blocked after two trucks crashed in the north end this morning.

Emergency crews were called out at about 9:20 a.m. Thursday after a box truck and a pickup truck collided at the intersection of Uplands Drive and Hammond Bay Road.

At least one person was taken to hospital and both vehicles required towing.
