Nanaimo Fire Rescue was called to End of the Roll on Bowen Road at 11 p.m. Sunday

A trailer filled with carpets caught fire in Nanaimo late Sunday night.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue was called to End of the Roll on Bowen Road at 11 p.m. and found that a trailer behind the business was on fire. Crews attacked the fire both from the ground and also from the roof of the adjacent building.

Once the fire was extinguished, firefighters could be seen removing carpets from the trailer.
