Suspect allegedly smashes minivan’s window to steal bike

A suspect allegedly smashed the window of a minivan in order to steal a bike.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, a bicycle was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Travelodge motel on Terminal Avenue on Tuesday.

“Investigators believe that sometime overnight, the male shown in the attached photo allegedly smashed the rear window of [the] Toyota Sienna, then lifted the bike out of the vehicle,” the press release notes.

An orange Santa Cruz bike was taken.
