Nanaimo News Bulletin's Best of the City 2014.

Everyone has an opinion on who makes the best wings in the city. Or the best pizza. The best sushi. And the best nachos. The list goes on.

Here’s your chance to have your say – and, more importantly,  have someone listen. Today (April 23) the News Bulletin launches the annual Best of the City survey, where we seek to answer the questions of who makes the best burgers in town. Or the best martini.

There are almost 100 questions to answer and it should take about 10-15 minutes of your time.

The survey will be open until May 17 at 11 p.m. After that, we’ll tally the responses and announce the winners in June as part of our award-winning Best of the City supplement.

Best of the City includes profiles on some of the winners, plus general stories about what we think makes Nanaimo great or unique.

To increase the chances of your favourites being picked tops, be sure to share on Facebook, Twitter or other social media platforms – the more responses we get, the more accurate the survey.

As an incentive to share your opinions, we’re offering some prizes, including a $250 gift card from Mid-Island Co-op; a kayak tour around Newcastle Island from Alberni Outpost (valued at $250); and a $250 prize package from the Downtown Nanaimo Business Improvement Association.
