Nanaimo RCMP are hoping the public can offer a few tips on the whereabouts of a five-ton delivery truck stolen from Ace Courier on Feb. 11. (Photo submitted)

Stolen five-ton truck nowhere to be found, Nanaimo RCMP appeal for tips

Truck stolen from Ace Courier last month

Police in Nanaimo are continuing to search for delivery truck that was stolen nearly a month ago.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, the vehicle, owned by Ace Courier, was stolen sometime between Feb. 11-13.

The vehicle is a white five-ton delivery truck with Ace decals on the upper corners of the rear panel. Video surveillance was in place, but the truck could not be seen by the cameras. Currently there are no suspects or witnesses to the theft.

Anyone with information about the theft or the whereabouts of the truck is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2023-5089.
