Southbound traffic slowed on Nanaimo Parkway after multi-vehicle accident

Traffic has been slowed, after a multi-vehicle accident on the highway, in the Jingle Pot Road area this afternoon.

First responders were called to a motor vehicle incident at 4:50 p.m. April 7 at Nanaimo Parkway, in the southbound lanes, south of East Wellington Road.

RCMP, B.C. Ambulance Service, Nanaimo Fire Rescue, as well as tow truck crews, were on scene.

Traffic is moving, but slowly.

There is no word on any injuries.
