The Canadian Armed Forces Snowbirds fly a tight formation past Cameron Island during their show over Nanaimo Harbour Wednesday.

The Canadian Armed Forces gave new meaning to the term 'stick handling' with a performance over Nanaimo Harbour by the Snowbirds air demonstration team.

The Nanaimo show was flown in support of the CHILD Foundation for children with intestinal and liver disorders.

The Snowbirds were followed by an aerobatic performance by the CF-18 Demonstration Team, also in support of the CHILD Foundation and to commemorate Canada’s effort to train air crew during the Second World War through the Commonwealth Air Training Plan.
