Second arrest made in liquor store robbery

NANAIMO – Police nab second of three suspects wanted in Terminal Park liquor store robbery.

Nanaimo Mounties have arrested and charged a second suspect involved in the robbery of the Terminal Park B.C. Liquor Store on Jan. 10.

Chance Kenton Nichol, 21, of Nanaimo was arrested without incident Wednesday.

Nichol was held in custody overnight and formally charged Thursday with robbery and intent to commit an indictable offence while having his face masked.

Nichol remains in custody until his next court appearance Tuesday (Feb. 24).

The robbery investigation continues as police search for a third suspect.
