A fundraiser for victims of the Slave Lake fires still needs donations of household items.

Organizer Michelle Walsh said they are looking for anything they can sell to help raise money for the people who lost their homes and possessions in the fire in May, which destroyed more than one-third of the town.

The items will be sold in a garage sale Saturday and Sunday (June 18-19), 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 2112 Boxwood Dr.

Items can be dropped off at that location. Please call 250-585-4850 for more information.
