Michael Wayne Drew Zabloski, 21, received a five-year sentence in Nanaimo provincial court yesterday for his role in the January robbery of the Terminal Park liquor store. In addition, he will serve one-year for aggravated assault to run consecutive to the robbery conviction. He also received a two-year concurrent sentence for a home invasion, according to Nanaimo RCMP.
Chance Kenton Nicol, 21, was also charged in the robbery and pleaded guilty in March, which earned a two-year sentence. Police say a third man is in custody in another province for a separate offence and his involvement in the robbery is still under investigation.
