UPDATE: The 30-year-old man has been located, says Nanaimo RCMP.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP requests the public’s assistance to locate a 30-year-old man who was dropped off in Nanaimo’s Northfield area and hasn’t been heard from since.

Trevor Loffler was with his family the night of Saturday, Jan. 29, and was given a ride to the 2100 block of Meredith Road, but no family members have spoken to him since, noted RCMP in a press release. Attempts to contact him by phone and via social media haven’t been successful, police say.

Loffler is 5-foot-6, 146 pounds, with short black hair, a goatee and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, jeans and white and red shoes, and he may be riding a black and red Giant mountain bike with white forks.

The RCMP are concerned for Loffler’s well-being and are asking anyone with any information that might be of assistance to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345.
