A group formed to save the Colliery dams from removal is hosting a rally Saturday (April 13).
Participants are encouraged to gather at Colliery Dam Park at 10 a.m. and proceed to University Village mall where the City of Nanaimo is hosting an open house for the Harewood Neighbourhood Plan.
The rally is organized by the Save Colliery Dams Preservation Society, which wants the park considered as part of the Harewood Neighbourhood Plan.
