NANAIMO – A group of protestors block entrance to Nanaimo Port Authority's Duke Point terminal Monday.

Nanaimo Port Authority staff talk with police, while protesters talk among themselves and logging truck drivers mill about waiting to transfer their loads onto a barge at Nanaimo Port Authority’s Duke Point Terminal Monday.

Protesters blockaded the entrance road to the terminal, preventing six logging trucks carrying old-growth logs from the Walbran Valley from entering.
