The Royal Canadian Navy plans on a noisy evening when it holds a nighttime firing exercise later this week.
The exercise will be held at the Nanaimo Military Range, located south of Westwood Lake on Lincoln Road, Thursday (June 27) from 5 p.m. to midnight.
The public is reminded unauthorized people are prohibited from entering the area.
