A man accused of stealing poppy donations has received five months in jail.
Anthony Edward Britt, 49, was arrested Nov. 6 for his fourth alleged poppy donation jar theft.
Britt appeared in Nanaimo provincial court Nov. 24 and did not receive credit for the 14 days he has already served prior to his court appearance.
He has been in custody since his arrest.
