UPDATED: Nanaimo woman reported missing Dec. 24 has been found

Nanaimo RCMP have reported Nicole Kristin Reedel, missing since December, has been found.

The Nanaimo RCMP is reporting that Nicole Kristin Reedel, 30, of Nanaimo, has been found safe.

Reedel, who was reported missing on Dec. 24, is normally very active on social media, but has not posted anything since Dec. 25.

According to an RCMP press release, Reedel did not give any indication she would be leaving Nanaimo and, because of this and other factors, her disappearance was considered out of character and troubling for her friends and family.
