Oceanside RCMP are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a 70-year-old Nanoose Bay man who was reported missing Sunday.
Police received a report at 8:30 p.m. from family members who said John David Seeland, 70, had last been heard from by e-mail earlier that day.
The family told the RCMP they were very concerned for Seeland’s well-being. He resides near the Red Gap area in Nanoose Bay.
Seeland is described as Caucasian, 6-foot-3 and 250 pounds. He has grey shoulder-length hair and green eyes.
