Mike Oldfield of Mid Island Towing hooks up chains as he prepares to flip a pickup truck right side up Wednesday morning.
The truck, belonging to Gorosh Cranes, went out of control shortly after 8 a.m. when it hit ice on the Nanaimo Parkway north of the Cedar Road interchange and landed on its roof on the Parkway Trail. The truck’s female driver was taken to hospital to be checked for a possible neck injury. No charges are pending against the driver.
