École Quarterway Elementary School’s Grade 7 class held Q-Con, a gaming convention fundraiser at the school Nov. 19.

The Society of Creative Anachronism was on hand to demonstrate heavy combat medieval style, Cloudhead Games had its virtual reality machines and critically acclaimed game Call of the Starseed.

In addition, Adrian Hough, who voiced Haytham Kenway in the Assassin’s Creed video game series, was at the event.

Proceeds will go towards a French immersion exchange to Quebec.
