Person taken to hospital after crash on Nanaimo’s Rutherford Road

Area of Rutherford hill near Bradbury Road closed until accident cleared

One person has been taken to hospital after a two-vehicle accident at the bottom of Rutherford hill.

Nanaimo Fire Rescue, B.C. Ambulance and RCMP are on scene at Rutherford Road, near Bradbury Road, close to Hammond Bay Road.

Two cars sustained front-end damage in the crash. The road will be closed until the scene has been cleared.
