NANAIMO – Commuters participate in Bike to Work Week.

Robin Dutton, owner of Coal City Cycles, left, checks over a tire on Deborah Beck’s mountain bike as Alan Kimber watches other cyclists stop by a Bike to Work Week celebration station at Boxwood and Dufferin roads Monday morning.

Celebration stations and events rewarding those who chose pedalling over stepping on gas pedals are happening on popular cycling commuter routes throughout the city until Sunday (June 5).
