A Paw Patrol gift bag with gift-wrapped items was found at the Beban Park recreational facility parking lot this past weekend, possibly left behind after a children’s party.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, the gift bag was turned into the Prideaux Street police station at 1 p.m. Feb. 26 and contained several wrapped items, including one that was partially opened, revealing a child’s toy.

“The gifts were most likely intended for a child’s birthday party and for unknown reasons, it ended up being left in the parking lot,” Const. Gary O’Brien, Nanaimo RCMP spokesperson, said in the press release. “The bag and contents were in good shape so they most likely had only been in the parking lot for a short period of time.”

Anyone with information on the gift bag is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 quoting file No. 2022-5709.
