Tourism Nanaimo invites the public to an open house at the Northfield visitor centre in celebration of National Tourism Week.
Tourism Nanaimo encourages locals to get out and experience Nanaimo-area activities and attractions during Tourism Week, June 10-16, then drop into the centre on Friday (June 14), 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., to share their experiences.
Residents and visitors are also encouraged to share their experiences and photos on Tourism’s Facebook page at www.facebook.com/TourismNanaimo, or via Twitter @TourismNanaimo.
Prizes, trivia, colouring contest, dog treats and six versions of the Nanaimo bar are available at the open house.
