Nanaimo residents can ‘drive through time’ with a new self-guided tour brochure.
The City of Nanaimo has crafted a 22.1-kilometre tour through local cemeteries, burial areas and memorial sites, in partnership with the Nanaimo Museum.
It’s the eighth addition to Nanaimo’s series of self-guided heritage tour brochures created by the new Culture and Heritage Department.
People can also explore downtown, Harewood, Old City Quarter and Newcastle Island.
Copies of the newest brochure are free at city facilities or can be sent directly to residents by contacting the Culture and Heritage Department at 250-755-4483.
