The Nanaimo Navy League Cadet Corps will celebrate its 50th anniversary and annual ceremonial review on Sunday (June 8).
As the 2013-14 training year is draws to a close, the review is a chance for cadets to demonstrate to family and guests some of the knowledge and skills they have learned over the year. It is also a chance for the corps to present awards to cadets.
The ceremony, which is open to the public, will consist of an inspection, march, music and drill display and will run from 11 a.m. until about 2 p.m. The ceremony will take place outdoors.
The Navy League is located on Fifth Street, near Vancouver Island University.
