UPDATE: 25-year-old woman who hadn’t been in touch with family has been found safe

UPDATE: The Nanaimo RCMP say the 25-year-old Nanaimo woman who was reported missing on March 25 has been located and is safe.

PREVIOUSLY POSTED: A Nanaimo woman who hasn’t been heard from since the fall has been reported missing by her family.

According to a Nanaimo RCMP press release, Jessica Maley-Ross, 25, was reported missing Friday, March 25. Individuals familiar with Maley-Ross say they believe her health is in decline and they are concerned for her safety and well-being. Police have checked shelters and hospitals, but to no avail, they say.

Maley-Ross stands 5-feet-1 and weighs 120 pounds with long blonde hair and green eyes.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call Nanaimo RCMP’s non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 quoting file number 2022-10020.
