PREVIOUSLY POSTED: The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance to locate a woman who stopped communicating with family members three weeks ago.

According to a police press release, a 30-year-old is now considered missing as she has not been seen nor heard from since Oct 20.

“[She] had maintained regular contact with her family. For unknown reasons, she stopped communicating with them. For her to do this is out of character, and as a result, her family is concerned for her safety and well-being,” the release noted.

Her family is concerned for her safety and well-being.

She has contacts throughout central Vancouver Island and it is unknown if she is currently in Nanaimo.

She is 5-foot-7, 130 pounds, with brown shoulder-length hair and brown eyes. Anyone with information on Larocque’s location is asked to call the Nanaimo RCMP non-emergency line at 250-754-2345 and quote file No. 2022-38815.
