Nanaimo school district reports COVID-19 case at Fairview Elementary

April 9 exposure the fourth case reported in SD68 since spring break

A student or staff member at Fairview Elementary has tested positive for COVID-19.

Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools reported on social media Saturday night that there was exposure at the school April 9.

The school district advises that anyone wishing more information should visit Island Health’s school exposures web page at this link.

The case is the fourth reported in School District 68 since spring break, following two other cases at Nanaimo District Secondary School and one at Wellington Secondary School.
