Nanaimo Regional District to update Benson Creek Falls Regional Park plan

NANAIMO – Open house takes place Saturday (June 22).

The Regional District of Nanaimo is hosting an open house to help develop a management plan for Benson Creek Falls Regional Park.

The new plan will confirm a long-term vision for the park and identify short-term and long-term objectives and actions from 2014-2024.

Benson Creek Falls Regional Park can be accessed by car from Weigles Road or by trail system from Creekside Place at the end of Jamieson Road.

The open house takes place at Creekside Community Park (off Jamieson Road) Saturday (June 22) from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will include interactive mapping, park information and an ideas exchange.
